Polishing
(highly recommended annually)
Regular polishing improves the comfort, mobility, and hygiene of the prosthesis.
The service includes:
Disinfection and polishing of the ocular prosthesis
Checking the overall condition of the prosthesis
Orbital evaluation
Referral to an oculoplastic surgeon if necessary
Adjustments and repairs
To preserve appearance and comfort.
Enlargement
Reduction
Paint touch-ups
Some prostheses cannot be repaired or adjusted, especially those that have been in use for several years. More complex repairs can be discussed during an in-person evaluation.
